Whether it’s niagra falls, the grand canyon, or seeing the ocean for the first time, we have all had experiences of one sort or another that inspire wonder in us, do something to us, move us emotionally. As moving and wondrous as it is to behold them, they only possess the ability to move us so far, before, over time, they lose their lustre. And yet, we find in them a hopefulness as well.
If this is true—that the Creator is the source of glory, and the gloriousness we find in this vast and wondrous world—then it is equally true that we need a consistent gaze upon the glory of God.
