So it's time to adopt a new pet?  And you've already done all your research, right? Temperament?  Check.  Potential health issues?  Check.  How big might they get (if a baby).  Check.  Best types of food?  Check. Etc.  But have you taken time to research the lifespan of your potential new family member?  In the case of some birds, (who can live into their 70's), you could easily find yourself in a situation where the pet could outlive you.  What would you do in such a situation?  And even in the case of animals such as dogs and cats, with "normal" lifespans, what happens if tragedy strikes, and you unexpectedly pass away before them?  Do you have provisions in place to make sure your pet is responsibly taken care of, once you're gone?  In this episode of The Missy Show, we discuss pet lifespan and making sure you are aware of the considerations involving this issue.  Join us Saturday, November 7th at 5pm Central.
