Why would anyone want independence from a good and loving God? Without Him, you have no choice but to live according to a rebellious nature, inherited from Adam, courtesy of Satan. Choosing to yield to God instead brings out Jesus’ love nature, one that’s lined up with God and allows the Holy Spirit to daily guide, correct, and bring unity.
