See how I handle another painful failure as an entrepreneur online I experienced yesterday in being rejected by the Dash community budget proposal. What I am learning is that every seeming failure is guidance in the right direction and motivation to use a different approach. While doing the same thing repeatedly and expecting a different result is insane, making some slight adjustments and trying again is the path of growth. At 16 months, my daughter is walking everywhere after hundreds of painful falls. Imagine if after she feel the first or second time she was unwilling to try again. She would not walk again for years if she approached walking the way I first approached working online. After getting scammed into a survey program in my first effort to work online and getting sucked into a pyramid scheme right after that, I vowed not to fail again by just getting real job after real job. Finally working in the world of real jobs became so painful for me, I was willing to take the less painful alternative of failing again online.

In the Dash masternode community, each month 10% of the dash mined is voted on by users with 1,000 dash allocated to a masternode. Dash has a huge need for some better marketing and the existing proposals I saw offered a small amount of value at a small cost. I got excited because I could see an opportunity for a great partnership between what I do online and the Dash community. I made a proposal with everything I imagined I could do and the first 15 or so votes were mostly yes. Then all the critics and haters came in leaving the votes yesterday at around 30 yes and 60 no. Now today the votes are 5 yes with one of them being me and 230+ no votes. After being excited to make a proposal to collaborate with the Dash community, I experienced a lot of pain at the rejection not just from the no votes but especially from the comments which indicated I basically made every aspect of the proposal unlikeable. Some of my first thoughts were to just leave the community behind and say that they do not deserve my help. Good thing I did not approach dating like that or I would not have met my wife. I believe in the Dash community and while it is hard sometimes to absorb feedback, I see that all the comments suggest ways I can make a better proposal in the future which has a good chance of getting accepted.

I hope as you read what goes on in my life it is helpful for you in your life today. My exercise is to work on a new way of handling rejection and messages from life that I am not good enough because I know the truth is everyone and everything is created perfectly just as it is. If you are looking to do some of the things I do online, I hope me sharing my honest experience with the ups and downs of them is helpful for you.
