Aditi joined the guys and agreed with what Mike Florio said about Mike Tomlin last hour that he did a great job in the back half of the year, but it was mainly him cleaning up his own mess. The guys asked why the excuse of TJ Watt continues to be made whenever the Tomlin defense doesn’t live up to standards because injuries are part of the game and you have to be ready for them. She talked about the ‘Steeler Way’ and how it’s not always something the franchise has to pretend to follow, citing the trade for Minkah Fitzpatrick a few years ago and signing Watt a day before the season started in 2021. Aditi talked about how the success Todd Haley had as the Steelers offensive coordinator.

The guys told Aditi about rising liquor prices and went through the top 20 ranking in sales in 2022. Aditi got to her plan on what the Steelers should do in searching for a new offensive coordinator if they move on from Matt Canada. She said getting the players to buy in is the most important thing and she’s not sure they are with Canada. She thinks Mike Tomlin should call some fellow head coaches and get some input on young names and put his pride to the side. She said Tomlin has heard from his players on Canada so the players seem to have input on the future. She raved about Kenny Pickett being very smart and safe when he talked to the media this season.

The guys told Aditi about someone taking Chris’ soup he had set aside for lunch today. There was also a funny Chris Russo moment from today. Aditi said she won’t count out the Ravens in this weekend’s matchup with the Bengals.
