Rob Bradford from WEEI joined the show. Rob gave us a rundown of Nick Yorke and what the Pirates could be getting in return for Quinn Priester. He raved about his performance in AAA this season. Rob thinks the Pirates won this deal. He isn’t sure if Yorke is an All Star, but he’s an offense-first 2B that can be a decent professional player. He said Yorke did not have a good spring training and that explains why we never really saw the guy in the majors this season. Rob thinks Yorke can hit for a solid average and be a good enough defensive player.
