Award-winning 93.7 The Fan reporter Josh Rowntree joined the show. Josh talked about the peculiar move to release Chris Oladokun. It appears the team will move forward with Mason Rudolph as the third string QB. He doesn’t like the comparison to Charlie Batch as a “veteran” presence in the QB room because the situations are not the same. Josh thinks the market could still be out there for Rudolph because he has impressed in the preseason and camp. On the offensive line, Josh said if Kendrick Green wasn’t drafted in an early round, he would not be on this team in a few weeks. It seems that Mason Cole is the only member of the offensive line that hasn’t been a complete disaster through two preseason games. He doesn’t understand why the strong center history with the Steelers has gone by the wayside.
