Full Hour | Today, Dom led off the Dom Giordano Program by discussing the death of Tyre Nichols in Memphis after the body camera footage of his beating was released, immediately going viral and stoking conversation about police brutality. Dom plays back audio from Al Sharpton who tried continuing to divide by making the issue again about Race, and plays comments made by President Joe Biden about an upcoming bill dedicated to honoring George Floyd. Dom spends the majority of the hour discussing the horrific situation, but also offers his analysis on the Eagles game, explaining why he thinks 49ers coach Kyle Shanahan is overhyped and why he should’ve subbed Dom in the game as Quarterback.
Then, Dom welcomes Bucks County Courier reporter JD Mullane for an update on the case against Mark Houck in federal court, telling that the jury is currently hung as the trial hits lunch break after resuming after the weekend today. Closing arguments have been made, now the public just waits for the decision of a jury to decide whether Houck is guilty of assaulting a Planned Parenthood escort after an exchange of words.
