Full Hour | In today’s second hour, Dom leads off by discussing the $9.25m payout that Philadelphia will need to give protestors after police teargassed individuals on 676 protesting the death of George Floyd. Dom and Dan have a discussion on the payout, with Dan asking how much a situation on 52nd in which private residences with windows open had gas seep in should weigh into the decision. Also, Dom and Dan ask listeners what should’ve been done instead of using tear gas on protestors on a highway. Then, Dom interjects the topic from last hour, taking calls from listeners weighing in what the coming arrest of Donald Trump will mean for the 2024 election, and whether the Democrats are timing this purposefully in effort to run against Trump in a general election.

Then, Dom welcomes in local political powerhouse and former congressional candidate Guy Ciarrocchi, who texted the Dom Giordano Program during the first hour explaining why he disagrees with Dom and does indeed think Trump’s arrest is a Democratic strategy to get Trump elected, telling why he thinks the Democrats believe they have the best shot against Trump in a general election.
