In today’s second hour, Matt Rooney filling in for Dom Giordano Program, welcomes in Christian Toto, owner of HollywoodInToto.com to discuss the cancellation of the woke The Idol Weeknd show on HBO Max, which showed gratuitous amounts of nudity and sexual scenes. This leads Rooney and Toto to discuss the trend of studios moving away from wokeness, with Toto telling that it’s largely split, also offering his review of the new woke prequel for Grease. Also, Toto tells us what’s worth checking out, telling why he highly suggests Gran Turismo, even though he readily admits the film is a bit formulaic.
Then, after hanging up with Toto, Rooney picks up where he left off with Toto, explaining why he highly dislikes John Mellencamp. Then, Rooney plays back some audio from an incident that played on in Colorado Springs in which a young student was forced to remove a Gadsden flag from his backpack, grinning smugly while his school official explained why it needed to be removed. This smile kicks off a conversation between Rooney and Dan as to why young men and boys are trending conservative. (Photo by Spencer Platt/Getty Images)
