Full Hour | In today’s third hour, Dom leads off the Dom Giordano Program by discussing a push in Pennsylvania to allow independent voters in Pennsylvania primaries. Giordano is not a fan of this suggestion, explaining why he is vehemently against allowing independent voters voting in a primary. Dom and Dan debate his thoughts on independent voters, with Dom suggesting that independents utilize their independence as a holier-than-thou tactic, but both agreeing that allowing independent votes in a primary would be detrimental to the electoral system. Then, Giordano takes calls from listeners offering their opinion on the topic, with one in particular suggesting a separate primary for independent voters that’s weighed into the Republican or Democratic vote.

Then, Dom welcomes Carrie DelRosso, candidate for Lieutenant Governor, onto the Dom Giordano Program for the first time to introduce her to his listening audience. First, Dom asks Carrie for some information about herself, with DelRosso explaining why she’s a great candidate and why she’d do so much more for the State than current Lt. Gov. John Fedderman, telling of a landslide win that helped her secure her current seat as a State Representative. DelRosso explains her stance on criminal justice, which she prioritizes very highly due to the outrageous spike in crime playing out in Philadelphia and Pennsylvania, and the role that elected Democrats have had in leading us down this dark path.
