The Holy Spirit came in the New Testament and was a part of the lives of people who followed Christ. The Holy Spirit lives inside of you and empowers you to do the work of the Father - that's why He's called “the helper”. The work of the kingdom of God isn't easy, Jesus knew that this would be true so He left behind a partner in the mission, the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the power of God living inside you!
