Some people are really hard on themselves; nothing short of perfection is good enough. Pastor Bill talks to us today, however, about how we can never be perfect and why we don’t need to try and impress God. It’s because you can’t! He was perfect so that you wouldn’t have to be. He died on the cross in order to save you from an eternity in hell. Don’t go back to the old covenant; that law isn’t sufficient, and it never was. God wants your trust and faith and obedience, not your sacrifices.
