Production is commencing on a silicon based fertiliser, which is being hailed as a "game-changer" for the environment. 

The Maxsil product uses recycled container glass, which is processed into an effective plant nutrient. 

Rural reporter Katie Fuller caught up with Maxsil Managing Director David Archer, who founded the product in 2014.
