In this week's passage, Jesus enters Jerusalem and drives out the money changers, declaring, “Do not make my Father’s house a house of trade.” What looks at first like anger is actually love in action—Jesus confronting what has corrupted worship and standing up for God’s glory and people’s access to Him.

But John tells us there is something even deeper happening. Jesus is not just cleansing a building; He is revealing Himself as the true Temple—the place where God now meets with humanity.

This week, we see that Jesus is not interested in superficial faith or religious performance. He goes after the heart. He comes to confront what is false, to remove what blocks true worship, and to invite us into real, living relationship with God through Himself.
