Busyness can distract us from doing that. Life’s demands make it hard to catch up with our soul and sort out what we are feeling about our life. We need wisdom for living! That's what La Jolla Community Church will focus on in this 2019 Summer Sermon series. Pastor Steve Murray begins the summer sermon series, "Wisdom in Bite-Size Pieces" with a sermon on "What is wisdom and why do we need it?" The worship service kicks off a reading of Psalm 19 by Ryan Silvia (LJCC's Director of Student Ministries). Then the worship band leads us into worship through song with a two-song worship set. Haley Courtney and Jonathan Somayajulu lead the LJCC Worship band in "Cannons" and "Revelation Song." After the second song guests are invited to greet one another. Ryan Silvia then welcomes everyone and gives the morning announcements. After "O Come To The Altar" as the offertory song, Steve Murray comes up to give the message of the morning. Following the message we take Holy Communion. During Communion the worship band sings "Be Thou My Vision." Lastly, Pastor Steve Murray comes back on stage to give the Benediction.
