I'm like most women in their 40's and 50's where I came to a moment in my life where I was at a cross roads. I had the opportunity to do stuff differently.
Now these moments can be triggered by life events such as a health scare, relationship breakdown, disruption in the workplace, or even the kids growing older and flying the coop.
It can also be triggered by a moment of self-reflection. You know that moment where you realise your life has become boring and routine, that you're living your life on autopilot. You've spent the last 20 to 30 years pouring your energy into the needs of others. You wake up and realise you've lost your spark, you've lost your way and your sense of identity.
Well for me, the cross roads were triggered by both. Disruption in the workplace, and a moment of self-reflection.
And it was profound and eye-opening to say the least. Now, I have to give you a little bit of background, but I promise, I'll get back to how this is profound, eye-opening and how it relates to YOU.
