A quiet, hot summer afternoon in Covington was violently interrupted by gunfire from a vehicle in the city's Eastside. When the smoke cleared, Randolph "Noodles" Hughes lay dead. Just over a year later, two men from Chicago are convicted in the slaying, and one of them may have suggested that Noodles was not their target. Kenton Co.
