Hello Humans! It's been awhile, and I apologize. Life got a bit crazy, but we're back, with a series of episodes from my Myanmar, Australia, and current trip in northern Thailand - stay tuned we'll be posting regularly moving forward!
As many of you know John Ho (episode #007) and I started the travel project #AlmostThere a few months ago, and Yangon was our first destination. The trip truly changed our lives and has ignited a deeper curiosity in the world around us. And on that note, I present to you today's guest, Bob Percival. Bob was an author, walking tour guide, academic, and adventurer originally from Australia. He travelled the world and spent many years in Asia. In this episode, he takes John and I on a walking tour of a historical district in Yangon, and in the process shares a ton of history, anecdotes, and heaps of knowledge. His passion for connecting people, cultre, and world history made him a wonderful guide.
Sadly, Bob passed away before this episode was released. And although it's deeply upsetting that the world lost a passionate individual that loved sharing what he did, I hope this audio version of his walking tour can give you a taste of what he did, and I hope you enjoy this podcast half as much as we enjoyed this tour.
