Mississippi State fans still have a rooting interest this summer as they await the beginning of college football season.

The Diamond Dawgs have put several players into the professional ranks since the team finished their run in Omaha. Fan favorite Elijah MacNamee joined the professional ranks over the weekend.

State also announced today that Samantha Ricketts would take the helm of the Bulldog softball program.
