Does God will the unjust suffering of his people?

1. The Foundation of God (v.18), “…not only to the good and gentle but also to the unjust” (c/f v.13)
2. The Fear of God (v.19), “…when mindful of God, one endures sorrows while suffering unjustly”
3. The Favor of God (v.20), “…do good and suffer for it you endure,…the sight of God…”
4. The Fame of God (v.21a), “…for to this you have been called…” (c/f v.9)
