As part of the Holyoke Black Lives Matter at School event, on February 9, 2019, a day of learning and community action, there were presentations by Holyoke High School students from the Ethnic Studies Class, and the Restorative Justice Program, along with a keynote by Whitney Battle-Baptiste, Director of the W.E.B. Du Bois Center at UMass, Amherst. This is the recording of her keynote, that brought a warming feeling to all the public in attendance during that cold morning at El Mercado, in South Holyoke.
