An example of his many entrepreneurial successes is Athena Diagnostics that sold for 740 M USD. He’s served on several boards, both of his own companies, and as an independent board member; serving with some of the leading figures including the founders and senior executives of Teva Pharmaceuticals, Genentech, Merck, DuPont, Novartis, JP Morgan, and The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

He has also done a lot of business in Taiwan, Japan, and China;
