1. Humans are a trinity of body, soul, and spirit, but we often neglect the soul.

2. The soul includes our mind, will, and emotions. It is also our battlefield.

3. In this world, every soul gets wounded. But how you treat the wound matters.

A wounded soul can limit (be the ceiling for) physical healing.

1. A healthy example of wound treatment is what David did (1 Sam 30)

2. On your worst day, you find strength in the Lord (v. 6)

3. You ask the Lord what to do (vv. 7-8)
4. You take necessary action (v. 9a)

5. When are generous in victory (v. 26)

6. Saul was an example of unhealthy wound treatment (1 Sam 20:24-33)

He attacked his family and friends because he was so paranoid.

1. Inner healing is the healthy process for dealing with soul wounds we all get.

2. Follow Holy Spirit to the source of your pain

3. Give your pain to Jesus
4. Receive good gifts from the Father to replace the pain
5. Repeat as often as necessary
