What report do you find yourself giving? Is it a good report, or do you highlight the struggles? In Episode 174 the girls talk about how we get to choose what our report is. This doesn’t mean we sugar coat or ignore hard things, but it means we put our focus on the things that will uplift us. In Numbers 13 we find the story of the Twelve spies who went out to see what the Promised Land had to offer them. Ten came back with a report of fear, yet two came back with an eternal perspective because they knew God had already promised them the land. Let’s be people who bring back the good report.

The world says “be whatever gender you want to be”. God says “I created them male and female”. So we live in this very real tension in our world. In Episode 172 Heidi and Heather chat about how important it is to have conversations with our kids about gender identity and how God created us, while at the same time have compassion for those who believe differently and not shy away from conversations about this. We get to walk in truth, that God created us male and female, and still love people well even though they may disagree with us.

It’s International Women’s Day. On Episode 171 Heather and Heidi share about some of the women who have influenced their lives over the years and how grateful they are for them. We are so privileged to be placed in this time in history as women as we have more freedom to fully be who God has called us to be than any other time in the world’s existence. Are you willing to go to jail for the gospel? We hear about it from other parts of the world, but now it’s come close to home. In Episode 170 of The H&H Show, Heidi and Heather talk about the pastor in Canada who is in jail because he opened his church and was preaching the gospel. Several weeks before this story broke, Heather had a word from the Lord from scripture which she wrote down in her journal. She knew it was for H&H listeners to share at some point. Upon hearing about this pastor, it was clear now was time to share this word, and have a chat about being willing to stand alone, no matter the cost.

“But they only shouted louder…” In Episode 168 Heidi and Heather talk about a story from the book of Matthew where Jesus heals the two blind men. So many of you need a healing touch from Jesus right now, but are you crying out with desperation for Him to heal you? The crowd around them tried to “shush” them but the men were so desperate for Jesus to hear them that they shouted even louder. It’s time to shout as loud as you need to in order to receive your healing, and if you are one doing the shushing, it’s time to repent and see the people around you who are longing to have a touch from Jesus.

Episode 150 is a long time friend of both Heather and Heidi. Her name is Michayla Krohe. The girls have know Michayla since she was a pre teen and have loved watching her grow into the wise and beautiful young lady she is today.
