I’m going to start here because this is the quote that sticks with me the most, “I was born the son of a Major League Baseball Player, I was not born a Major Leaguer, that part was up to me”. And you have said that you almost gave up on your career at 22 - What made you persevere?

In life, in baseball, and in business you talk about your failures and great successes, and have used this in every aspect of your career to guide you and be your driving force, how are you using this now to help inspire others?
I became a major leaguer at the age of 22 in 1988 with the Toronto Blue Jays. I failed my way through 15 seasons where I landed on 3 World Championship Teams. Todd, please explain to our radiance what you mean by failing your way through 15 major league seasons?
