In the first segment of the show's first hour, Annie points out that your moral character is not determined by which party you vote for, but both parties want you to believe that it is.  Then the center for Immigration Studies' Mark Krikorian calls in to update us on the current state of the southern border.  The hour closes out with Ryan bringing a story about a woman who is fighting a ticket for using the HOV lane because she is pregnant and her child is a person.
