(0:00-9:29) Guy Relford is back with another edition of the Gun Guy on 93.1 WIBC. Guy opens the show with what the Indy Star wrote about constitutional carry and the rebuttal he wrote on behalf of the 2A Project. Guy discusses some of the push back he received as a result and the nature of criticism on social media. To end the first segment, we talk about traveling with firearms and Guy’s upcoming travel plans.
(9:30-20:11) Guy goes to the phone lines and listeners have constitutional carry on their minds. Guy talks about reciprocity in the context of constitutional carry and how things will work taking firearms across state lines. Then, Guy gets into more about traveling with your firearm as spring is right around the corner and more people are traveling, as well as lifetime permits.
(20:12-30:03) Guy comes back with more discussion on traveling with a firearm. Where are you going? Which states will you be traveling through? What laws do those states have? Do they recognize your gun permit? All of these are important questions and Guy prepares you for traveling with your gun.
(30:04-35:36) To round out the first hour, Guy goes to the phone lines to talk to callers.
(35:37-47:28) At the top of the second hour, Guy previews the agenda for hour No. 2 before returning to the topic of traveling with firearms and talking to listeners. Where are you going? Which states are you traveling through? What are the laws in that state and do you have to consider additional laws based on where you plan to go or stay? As people begin to travel more as the weather gets warmer, Guy gets you ready to travel with your firearm.
(47:29-58:38) We wrap up the discussion on traveling with firearms by discussing how to travel on an airplane with a firearm. Guy details how he plans on making sure his firearms and his cases pass inspections while he is en route to Phoenix.
(58:39-1:09:06) Why did the Founders use the wording they did on the Second Amendment? Guy talks about that in the context of what’s happening in Ukraine.
(1:09:07-1:12:30) To finish up a busy show, Guy gives us an update on where constitutional carry is in the Indiana government and how much longer Gov. Holcomb has to sign or veto the bill.
