Guy opens the show by setting the agenda for today’s show moving away from the politics and talking practical gun topics. Guy dives into a simple question that he gets a lot, “what gun should I buy?” and details the things to consider when buying a firearm, especially for the first time.

(11:06-19:08) Guy continues the discussion about how to choose which gun to buy. Like anything else – cars, houses, clothes – there are pros and cons / gives and takes to any gun purchase. We discuss the type of questions Guy asks when someone tells him they want to buy a gun and the type of things to consider during the process. Guy and Ryan start with a description of Ryan’s business and how the holster company began and Ryan gives us a crash course on the holster industry. Then, the conversation turns to carry methods and how to decide which method is the best for each individual gun owner.

(44:47-55:39) Ryan Christopher comes back for a second segment and this segment revolves around what is the best gun to buy and what goes into making that decision. Ryan and Guy each give advice when it comes to making that selection and what they tell the people who ask them for advice.

(55:40-1:07:20) Ryan and Guy are joined by Tamara Watson to talk about the importance of trying out as many guns as possible when deciding which firearm to purchase. Tammy details a class she teaches that allows each student to shoot a lot of different firearms. Simply put, don’t let someone tell you what the best gun is for you without shooting it for yourself.

(1:07:21-1:11:02) Ryan and Guy wrap up the show with more carry conversation and Ryan gives his final message and his goal with his company.
