In this episode, we chat to Simon Taylor, Managing Director of SJT Management Holding

Simon was born and brought up in Newcastle, started his professional career with Northumbrian Water after gaining a MSc in Environmental Management, and has since gained a MBA from Durham Business School. He has a wealth of senior management experience, having held a number of Director and Managing Director positions. 

Since returning to the North East of England he setup SJT Management Holdings and is a Non-Exec Director in a SME and is on the Board of Governors for a local independent school. He is a Mentor for the NELEP and a member of The Experience Bank, as well as being a Business Innovation Specialist for the NE BIC, and is a provider for NBSF.

Simon has over 20 years’ experience of managing organisations in the Utilities sector in the UK and abroad, including a number of senior leadership roles in large complex organisations, in both the private and public sector. He spent 6 years working in the Middle East managing teams of locals and international expats in demanding commercial and regulatory environments.
