Love takes the initiative. Like faith, it shows its true colors in the actions of the one expressing it. The psalmist has struggled with fears and doubts but has settled his faith in God's Word -vs. 89-96-. There is a sweetness in our relationship with our Savior when we can sing----Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus. Just to take Him at His Word.----Just to rest upon His promise. Just to know- -Thus said the Lord.'---This octave does not have a prayer request in it. It is an exclamation of the joy the psalmist experienced in God's comfort through His Word.
