Today’s episode is just Nic, and it's a chance to find out a little about her, how she became organised and why being planned and organised is important to her.
While Nic now has five kids aged 17, 15, 12, 10, 7 she did at one time have five under 10. It was her planning and organisational skills that helped her stay sane during that time.
Prior to having kids, Nic was very organised in her work life, but not so much in her personal life. She had a turning point with her second child and started her planning journey there.
New readers and listeners to the podcast while they all have their individual slant to it, tend to have three topics of questions which she gives answers to in this episode: Isn’t planning boring and doesn’t it take the fun out of life? Where do you start when you don’t know where to start getting organised? How do you do it all?Blog posts mentioned in the episode: Basic menu planning: http://planningwithkids.com/2016/02/23/basic-menu-planning/ Children’s Routines: http://planningwithkids.com/2010/07/23/childrens-routines/ Family contribution schedule: http://planningwithkids.com/2014/04/01/family-contribution-schedule/ 10 Things To Do Before You Go To Bed: http://planningwithkids.com/2010/04/13/10-things-to-do-before-you-go-to-bed/
