Hi everyone! Librarian Lisa here...unfortunately you won’t be hearing from our teens today, just me. Instead of one of our typical episodes (if you can call any of them typical!), I wanted to pop in and let everyone know that even though our library buildings are closed..., the library is open. We have so many digital services that are available 24/7 from our website, www.massapequalibrary.org

If you follow us on Facebook or on Instagram, you’ve seen our recent posts highlighting a lot of these services. If you don’t follow us...you should! If you visit www.massapequalibrary.org, you can see all of our social media in the top right hand corner of the site.

Now, for digital services, my personal favorite is the Nassau Digital Doorway. You can access tons of ebooks and audiobooks by downloading the Libby app, or by visiting bit.ly/mpl-ebooks. While you’re at that link, you can also visit Hoopla, where you can read books and also stream TV and movies, as well as RBDigital, our home for digital magazines.

You’re going to need your library card number to access most of these services, but if you don’t have one, don’t worry! You can get a free digital card by visiting nassaulibrary.org/digital-card-application. These cards will last until June 30th. Please also note that the card is for digital services only, and cannot be used to borrow physical materials or place requests for physical items from any library.
