Now that we have been saved by grace, we begin the process of being transformed into the likeness of Christ. Although obeying God’s Code of Conduct is part of this process, rules don’t have the power to make us better people. In fact, rules makes things worse for us, because although we might agree with them, we battle to follow them. Why is this? And is there a better way?
