TROPICS: Fred is a tropical storm & will strengthen slightly (still a tropical storm) before landfall tonight along the Florida Panhandle. Fringe local impacts thanks to Fred. Tropical Storm Grace tracks over Hispaniola today. Grace has a chance today to strengthen a bit before encountering land. We are also tracking tropical depression 8 northeast of Bermuda. This will likely become our next named storm later today or tonight. However, it should remain in the Atlantic and stay out to sea.
