School districts across the country have rushed to "online learning" in the face of pandemic-induced closures, but this misguided pivot is doing a disservice to every party involved. Classroom teachers are ill-prepared to migrate their skills online, students are having great difficulty in adjusting to isolation, and exasperated parents are caught in the middle.
