Instructors teaching college computer science are aware that homegrown solutions don't always scale to catch instances of plagiarism. Pairing tools like MOSS are helpful, but perhaps doesn't catch every instance of cheating. This podcast discusses how tools like MOSS are beneficial to instructors due to how they work, why students feel compelled to cheat, and the grey area of what constitutes actually cheating.
