My homily for the 28th Sunday in Ordinary Time, Year A as preached during the 5 pm Mass from Sacred Heart Cathedral, Hamilton.

The readings proclaimed were Isaiah 25:6-10; Philippians 4:12-14, 19-20; Matthew 22:1-14.

"The banquet of the Lord has been laid out, and invitations have been sent out. If we are prepared to accept the invitation, we are also called to extend the invitation to others, to go out to the corners of the streets and extend God's invitations to others."
