I do a 5K 3 or 4 times a week around the Rosebowl in Pasadena. I'm not a runner – I walk it – and while it's great exercise, what I'm really doing is clearing my head and giving my brain some space.  My tips this week are on how to make a decision, and my tip today is one of the most effective ways I've found to make a decision is to get my body moving.  Take a walk. Go on a bike ride do something. Just get moving.

It's something about having the ideas rattle around in my head, while I'm not focusing on them, that helps me make a decision. A lot of times during or after my walk, the answer pops into my head. This is somewhat the same method as asking the question and then sleeping on it! Both methods work, but with mine you'll get a little exercise in.

So get moving and get your answers. And speaking of moving, head on over to my website TheWorkLady.com to check out the good and bad decisions I've made in comedy.

That's it for today. Take care and enjoy your journey.
