Gifted: “The Word Gifts”

[Ephesians 4:11-16; Romans 12:6-8]

Jesus gives us each at least _________________ to use in helping His _________________ grow in maturity, unity, and love.

Word Gifts in Action:

• _________________:  Sent ones.  Bring abundant life to new spaces and leave churches in their wake [Acts 4:32-37].
• _________________:  Apply truth.  Bring life to others through encouragement and application. [Acts 4:36; Acts 11:28]
• _________________: Influencing others. Moving a group towards a God given vision, or goal, that helps the body of Christ accomplish God’s plans for the group [Acts 4:5-13]
• _________________: Sharing the Gospel effectively. The special ability to share Jesus in relevant ways to unbelievers so that people repent and receive Jesus. [Acts 8:26-31]

• _________________:  Clarify truth.  Bring the Bible to life for others and help them understand it [Acts 17:10-12].

• _________________: Providing consistent care. The special ability to assume a long-term personal responsibility to share Jesus’ presence with a group of believers through all of life’s experiences [Acts 18:24-28].
