Cassie Nesbitt is a woman who embodies many titles as she goes about her everyday life. Neurologist and surfer are two that spring to mind immediately. She has crammed a lot into her life and through everything has tried to learn from experience. Cassie worked hard in her small country town of Rutherglen to achieve the marks required to enter medicine. She moved to Melbourne, married her childhood sweetheart and set about achieving her neatly mapped out life. Life took an unexpected turn when her marriage ended and she took stock of what she wanted out of her life and began to simplify it by turning her focus to what is truly important for her. She spends her life working part-time as a neurologist, surfing, enjoying time in nature, travelling, taking stunning photographs and embracing life with her partner Tom and her two adorable dogs.
