In 1991 there was a Booker Prize shortlist with no women on it at all. Curious as to how this could happen, Kate Mosse decided to start The Women’s Prize for Fiction, the largest annual celebration of women’s creativity in the world, to honour and amplify women’s voices globally. As well as her motivation to champion women, Kate talks to AllBright Co-Founder Debbie Wosskow about her career as a best-selling author, seizing success later in life and her advice to other women hoping to make a career in writing.
