This is a recording of a seminar I taught at the Iron Sharpens Iron Conference in Rochester NY, in November, 2018. I spoke on "What You Need to Know." With Christianity under increasing attack in America, it becomes more critical all the time that we know the truth about it and how to talk about it. In this seminar we will examine the defense of our belief to assure you that we stand on solid ground. These are the questions the culture is asking, and these are the reasons so many people are falling away from the faith. There is never cause to desert or doubt Christianity. There is solid research and good evidence for what we believe. You need to know what it is, not only so that you don’t drift away, but also so that you can help others.

1. Christianity is coming under increasing attack.
2. The evidence for God is far more substantial, far more convincing, far stronger a case than anything anyone else can mount.
3. The evidence for the resurrection is strong enough to convince anyone who has an open mind.
4. The evidence for the historicity and reliability of the Bible is huge.
5. Science cannot possibly be the only reliable path to knowledge.
6. Then there are subjects like genocide, slavery, and misogyny. You need to understand that these are all misunderstandings because of our modern mindset. They are not valid criticisms of God, the Bible, or Christianity.
