V2.023: End GameThe Fear—Faith EraThe year of divine discomfort. If you fear God, you won’t fear the end.If we stand in the face of worldly fear without the fear of God, we are in the mosttreacherous of places. If you have faith in God, you won’t have the desire to have faith in man-madesolutions.The World has adopted a fear that has caused them to place their faith inthemselves.Dread of the end or what’s next will have you placing your faith in all the wrongplaces with all the wrong results.2 Timothy 3:1-5 NIVBut mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be loversof themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to theirparents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without selfcontrol, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers ofpleasure rather than lovers of God – having a form of godliness but denying itspower. Have nothing to do with such people.Matthew 24:37-39But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. Foras in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying andgiving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not knowuntil the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Sonof Man be.We fear God and have faith in Jesus. The world fears not being god and has faith only in themselves.Being like God is a satanic lie that has infected society. It has distorted theauthority we have and the authority we are under. When society trusts in the lies of Satan, it backs itself into a demonic corner ofdarkness, desperation, and hopelessness.1 Timothy 4:1 NIV1 The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith andfollow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons. It’s time to shift! The church, we have an end-game strategy that needs to beactivated. The capital C church has to find its capital C commitment to Jesus. The End Game Jesus We Are Committed To:

JESUS IS THE ALPHA AND OMEGA. (Revelation 1-3)JESUS IS RETURNING SOON.JESUS IS THE LAMB OF GOD. (Revelation 4-5)JESUS IS WORTHY TO OPEN THE SCROLL.JESUS IS THE RIGHTEOUS JUDGE (Revelation 6-18)JESUS RIGHTEOUSLY JUDGES THE EARTH.JESUS IS THE KING OF KINGS (Revelation 19-20)JESUS RETURNS WITH HIS CHURCH.JESUS IS THE BRIDEGROOM. (Revelation 21-22JESUS TAKES HIS BRIDE TO THE HEAVENLY CITY.Hebrews 3:1-4 NLTAnd so, dear brothers and sisters who belong to God and are partners withthose called to heaven, consider Jesus whom we declare to be God’smessenger and High Priest. For he was faithful to God, who appointed him, justas Moses served faithfully when he was entrusted with God’s entire house. ButJesus deserves far more glory than Moses, just as a person who builds a housedeserves more praise than the house itself. For every house has a builder, butthe one who built everything is God.We have structured the church according to our own design and not the designof Christ.Ephesians 6:12 ESVFor we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against theauthorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against thespiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. We have a greater battle than what we can see or feel. We need to dig deeper, wise up, and become way more alert than we have been. When the world was poised at a similar shift, Jesus had just been put to death.Peter describes what would be required of Christians, and when he preaches, here is their response…Acts 2:37-39 NIV37 When the people heard this, they were cut to the heart and said to Peter andthe other apostles, “Brothers, what shall we do?” 38 Peter replied, “Repent andbe baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness ofyour sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39 The promise is foryou and your children and for all who are far off-for all whom the Lord our Godwill call.”It was at this moment in our spiritual history, similar but on a lesser scale, that agroup of people realized the importance of having a fear of God and faith inJesus as their only response that would give rise to a chosen group of peoplewho would be called the ekklesia, and here is where we find the most detaileddescription of the bride, the church that Jesus needs to firm up and ready forthe end game.Acts 2:40-47Peter preached to them and warned them with these words: “Be rescued fromthe wayward and perverse culture of this world!” Those who believed the wordthat day numbered three thousand. They were all baptized and added to thechurch . Every believer was faithfully devoted to following the teachings of theapostles. Their hearts were mutually linked to one another, sharing communionand coming together regularly for prayer. A deep sense of holy awe swept overeveryone, and the apostles performed many miraculous signs and wonders. Allthe believers were in fellowship as one body, and they shared with one anotherwhatever they had. Out of generosity they even sold their assets to distribute theproceeds to those who were in need among them. Daily they met together in thetemple courts and in one another’s homes to celebrate communion. They sharedmeals together with joyful hearts and tender humility. They were continually filledwith praises to God, enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord keptadding to their number daily those who were coming to life. This was the church – a group of people sold out in faith and in godly fear. This was the church that would stand up to the demonic hell that would beunleashed on the world.Discipleship becomes a product of our obedience to the Word and our reverentworship of God.The economy will fail.Morals will corrupt.Character will not be considered essential.Worship will be questioned – (they can’t ban worship when our worship is theway we live our lives)Persecution will come. Those who don’t bow to this world find themselves in the fire. But in the fire iswhen we have our greatest moments.Matthew 16:18 ESVAnd I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock, I will build my church, and thegates of hell shall not prevail against it.The Spirit is assembling the church for its greatest battle. We will not be shy ofsubmitting to the Spirit. Our fear of God = is our WORSHIPOur faith in Christ = our obedience to Him as the WORDThe Word and Worship FocusKids, Youth, and Young Adults.
