We have a lot to talk about on #TheUpdate this Tuesday. President Biden announced that al-Qaida leader Ayman al-Zawahri was killed in a U.S. drone strike in Kabul. He hailed the operation as delivering "justice" while expressing hope that it brings "one more measure of closure" to families of the victims of the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks on the United States. 🇺🇲 Locally, New York City and four states that sued the U.S. Postal Service have announced a settlement in which the agency agreed it will destroy packages of cigarettes sent illegally to the United States from other countries. Authorities have charged a man with lurking near the New York City home of an Iranian dissident with an assault rifle. The Republican Party's embrace of Donald Trump's election lies will be tested in Arizona. Voters are choosing between candidates who say they wouldn't have certified the results of the 2020 campaign and those who argue it's time to move on. And there’s nothing more annoying than getting a stain on a piece of clothing- especially if it’s new. And while there are thousands of stain removing products on the market, it’s hard to know if any of them actually do what they say on the packaging. You can almost guarantee, however, if you take the item to a dry cleaners that they’ll get it out. But what’s their secret? 🧦🧥
