Episode 133 ushered in a first in the podcast’s history: a recording without Gatrey. Yes, you read that right! Gatrey was out of town this episode, but Walker and Blaque were joined again by LP, our first-ever returning guest.

After explaining the origin of his name and what it means, LP went on to discuss the early struggles he had with being his authentic self and NOT being accepted in the church. This convo led us to discuss how this issue has contributed to pushing people out of the church.

We went on to discuss LP’s latest book, “My Thoughts, Ideas, Suggestions, For the Bible, Church, and Religion. Part 1: The Bible.” We tackled issues concerning slavery in the Bible, the Prosperity doctrine, and other controversial topics.
