The message of the cross as the only means by which God forgives sin causes some to question why. Why doesn’t God just forgive us in the same way He commands us to forgive others? The answer? The inevitable collision that takes place between His holiness and our humanness. Though God is a God of love and mercy, He is simultaneously a God of justice and holiness. This morning we’ll take a look at ourselves from God’s perspective.
