I'm writing this as I look beyond my monitor into the studio where my cat Chocolate is sleeping soundly. There is a fantastic beauty to this scene as he feels safe being near me. I find myself also comforted by him whenever he's around. I've got friends online who make me feel safe in this regard, and I am glad whenever they show up on Twitter, Discord, or in a stream chat.

Who in your life makes you feel safe? And even more importantly, who feels safe when you are around? I can't give Chocolate advice on how to live his life, but just the simple act of my presence is soothing to him. I will propose that we underestimate the comfort of our lives to someone else.
