Veterans Day—also known as Remembrance Day in various countries—is one of the times of year when many people reflect on and thank their Armed Forces for their willingness to take on the ultimate sacrifice. In honor of Remembrance Day, this November 11th episode is dedicated to the many brave people that have served in the military as well as their loved ones.

Today, I share why Remembrance Day is so important to me and why I am thankful for the opportunity to have served in the United States Army. I explore the different meanings of November 11th worldwide and the various holidays we have for our Armed Forces in the US. I also offer a reflection that can be done to help appreciate the sacrifice of veterans and explain why I am grateful to those who have served as well as the network of people who support them.

“If you are someone that has benefited from the sacrifice of veterans, I strongly encourage you to take some time today to reflect on what you have and why you have it.” - Jos Willard
