Excuses Begone!: How to Change Lifelong, Self-Defeating Thinking Habits

At times, you may find yourself dwelling on all of the things you feel you should have done. If you are in that situation, try to step back and use the opportunity to think about what it means. Are there some rules you're holding yourself to that you think you are breaking? Why do you believe that? Where did those rules come from, and should you change them?

Today, I explore common perceptions about the rules that govern our lives and run our businesses. I share why living by these rules can cause stress and examine why we set rules for ourselves and others. I also share how we apply those rules to our lives and how to review them to see if they no longer serve us and should be changed.
